Cassandra asks:

Im trying to look for spanish books written by chilean authors. I live in New Zealand and its hard to find any here. Books similar to authors Isabel Allende and Gabriel Garcias Marquez would be great.

After a little searching I found these available on Amazon.com:

  • 100 Love Sonnets/Cien Sonetos De Amor
  • Odes to Common Things, Bilingual Edition
  • Neruda: Sus mejores poemas
  • search for other books by Pablo Neruda

Isabel Allende

  • De Amor y de Sombra
  • Mi Pais Inventado : Un Paseo Nostalgico por Chile
  • search for other books by Isabel Allende

Gabriela Mistral

  • Poemas De Las Madres: The Mothers’ Poems
  • search for other books by Gabriela Mistral

Vicente Huidobro

  • Huidobro ciudadano del olvido
  • search for other books by Vicente Huidobro

Garcia Marquez is Columbian, but you can also find his books here:

  • Cien Años de Soledad
  • search for other books by Gabriel García Márquez
