Chilean National Symbols Coloring Pages

Chile’s independence celebrations, called las fiestas patrias, arrive the week of September 18th.

Every year I hear from parents and teachers that want to teach their kids more about Chilean culture.

You can help your kids get in the spirit of celebrating Chile with these coloring pages that represent Chile’s national symbols and people. You can print out the coloring pages and then have your kids color or paint them:

National Seal

The Chilean National Seal includes a shield bordered by the native Huemul and Condor.

Pepe, I love your e-mails. I’m getting excited to return to Chile on a botanical expedition this January. My appetite is definately getting whetted! How about info on geology of various regions and ways to support the trapped miners.Gracias! Debby
