Itata Waterfalls

The beautiful Itata Waterfalls (Salto del Itata in Spanish) are found in Chile’s VIII Region. If you are traveling from Concepción, the Itata falls are about a two-hour journey.
Itata Falls
The waterfalls and surrounding area offer a beautiful setting and are great to visit with your family. These magnificent waterfalls drop more than 80 meters (260 feet).
Here’s a video of the Itata waterfalls to give you a feel for the waterfall:

If you like to go camping, there are sites near the falls with electricity and drinking water.
Cabins are also available if you want more comfortable accommodations.
