Center: 70% copper, 15% nickel, 15% zinc, Silver color.
Ring: 92% copper, 6% aluminum, 2% nickel, Gold color.
Weight: 7.58 grams
Diameter: 23.5 mm
Thickness: 2 mm
Shape: Circular
Edge: Divided into sixths, alternating smooth and stretched

Face: The face of a Mapuche woman crowned with the phrase “REPUBLIC OF CHILE” (“REPÚBLICA DE CHILE”) on the ring. The bottom of the ring reads “ORIGINATING PEOPLE” (“PUEBLOS ORIGINARIOS”). To the side of the figure, the expression “Mapuche”. Mint mark to the right of center.

Reverse: At the center of the coins stands the National Seal and below it the year of minting along with “100” and the word “PESOS” superimposed over the ring. Laurel branches border the seal on the outer ring.
