Diameter: 26 mm
Shape: Circular
Edge: Stretched

Face: The figure of Cardinal Raúl Silva Henríquez is crowned with the words “REPUBLIC OF CHILE” (“REPÚBLICA DE CHILE”) on the ring. The mint mark sits to the right of center, laurels form the bottom of the ring.

Reverse: The number “500” is centered below which sits the word “PESOS” and the date of minting. At the top of the ring a five pointed star with the coin’s edges engraved with laurel branches.
